Almost 30 years of know-how and engineering discipline
Our journey began in 1996. In 2009 we incorporated as Abuşoğulları Kumlama Boya Ltd. Şti., and in 2021 we founded AZZ Makina ve Mühendislik, expanding into blasting machine design, steel structures and chassis fabrication.

18-turbine automatic tunnel shot blasting machine
Designed and built by our Authorised Representative, Mechanical Engineer Aziz Abuş, this machine has a 3000 × 1800 mm inlet, the largest of any domestically built blasting machine in Türkiye. It blasts the heaviest steel sections and large structures uniformly in a single pass.

Tunnel blasters, blast rooms or mobile crews bring the surface to the required ISO 8501-1 grade.

Primer, intermediate and topcoats are applied with approved products under measured ambient conditions.

Where is Abuşoğulları Kumlama Boya and what does it do?
Abuşoğulları Kumlama Boya operates a 16,000 m² plant in the Pancar Organised Industrial Zone in Torbalı, İzmir, Türkiye, providing abrasive blasting, industrial painting, painting of galvanized steel, polyurea and special coatings. Its sister company AZZ Makina designs blasting machines and fabricates chassis and steel structures.
What is your plant capacity?
Our blasting and painting capacity is 3,700 tonnes per month. The plant covers 16,000 m², of which 7,000 m² is covered (3 integrated halls) and 9,000 m² is open, with 15 overhead cranes from 3 to 15 tonnes.
What is the largest part you can blast?
Our 18-turbine automatic tunnel shot blasting machine has a 3000 × 1800 mm inlet. Our manual blast rooms measure 5 × 5 × 14 m and take parts up to 14 metres long. For tanks and structures that cannot be transported, we blast on site.
Which standards do you work to?
ISO 8501-1 (Sa 1 – Sa 3) for surface cleanliness, ISO 8503-2 for surface profile, ISO 12944 (C1 – C5) for corrosion protection, and EN ISO 3834 and EN 1090 for welded fabrication. Measurement results are delivered in test reports.
Which paint brands do you apply?
Depending on the specification we apply products from certified industrial coating manufacturers such as Jotun, Hempel, International (AkzoNobel), PPG, Kansai Altan and Kanat Boya.
Do you work for customers outside Türkiye?
